Fulton County, AR – Authorities are investigating a double homicide that took place in the Agnos area of Fulton County between October 20 and 21. Law enforcement officials have identified Jacob Lowell J. Smith, 32, as a person of interest in the case and have issued a statewide Be on the Lookout (BOLO) and officer safety warning.
Smith is wanted on a statewide extradition warrant for absconding and violating probation and parole conditions in Arkansas. Sharp County Sheriff Shane Russell confirmed that the alert was first issued early Tuesday and later upgraded following the official entry of the warrant.

Investigators report that the bodies of two women were discovered on October 21 at one of the victims’ homes in Agnos. Their identities have not yet been released pending official identification and family notification. Both bodies have been sent to the Arkansas State Crime Laboratory for autopsy.
Authorities are also searching for a 2004 red Dodge Ram 1500 pickup with Arkansas license plate BEH-93R, reportedly stolen from the homicide scene. Two firearms are missing, including a Sears pump-action shotgun with a black-painted wooden stock and a Charter Arms .38 Special revolver.
Smith, described as a 6’2”, 165-pound white male with a bow tie tattoo on his neck and additional facial tattoos, is considered armed and extremely dangerous. He was last booked on September 30 in Van Buren County for possession of a controlled substance and has a criminal record dating back to 2017.
Authorities are urging the public to avoid any contact with Smith and immediately call 911 or the Arkansas State Police if he or the stolen vehicle is spotted.
