
HAMILTON, ON — The Hamilton Police Service has identified the victim in a September 27, 2023 homicide in the city’s Durand neighbourhood as 33-year-old Tyler Hayden Robitaille.
Authorities confirmed Robitaille’s identity with the consent of his family, describing the incident as a tragic loss that has deeply impacted loved ones and the local community.
Police say they are continuing to actively investigate the case and are appealing to the public for assistance in locating those responsible. Investigators believe there are individuals who may have vital information about the circumstances surrounding Tyler’s death.
“We know there are people who hold key details about this case,” police said in a statement. “We urge anyone with information to come forward and help bring closure to Tyler’s family.”
