A heartbreaking tragedy has struck the Harvard community after newlyweds Rachel and Brandon Dumovich were found dead in their vehicle just days before celebrating their first wedding anniversary. The couple, who had been inseparable since their middle school years, were discovered on October 6th near Route 14 in Harvard, Illinois.
According to the Harvard Police Department, officers were alerted after noticing a stationary vehicle with its hazard lights flashing. Upon inspection, they found the bodies of Rachel and Brandon inside, both suffering from apparent gunshot wounds. Authorities have not disclosed whether foul play is suspected, but an investigation is currently underway to determine the circumstances surrounding their deaths.
