POCATELLO, Idaho — Idaho State University and the broader scientific community are mourning the death of Dr. Don Jeffrey “Jeff” Meldrum, a respected professor of anatomy and anthropology, who passed away at age 67 after a brief but courageous battle with brain cancer.

A full professor in ISU’s Department of Biological Sciences, he also served as an adjunct professor in Physical and Occupational Therapy and in Anthropology, reflecting his passion for interdisciplinary learning.
