Friends and family came together to pay tribute to Winchester, a standout quarterback on the Havre de Grace High Junior Varsity team, following the deadly incident that occurred after a Halloween party.
The somber gathering featured a poignant display of balloons, candles, and photographs, commemorating Winchester’s life. He was fatally shot in the head while sitting in the backseat of a car on Center Deen Avenue.
Authorities have charged a 16-year-old in connection with Winchester’s murder. The community continues to grapple with the loss of a promising young life.
