Scarborough, ON – The Jarvis Soccer Club (Jarvis SC) is grieving the heartbreaking loss of Hiran Thas, a beloved member of its 2007 Rep Team, who tragically died in a motorcycle collision on Tuesday morning, September 30, 2025.
According to Toronto Police, the crash occurred at approximately 8:22 a.m. near Markham Road and Cougar Court, just north of Kingston Road. The accident involved a motorcycle and an SUV. Despite immediate emergency response, the 28-year-old rider was pronounced dead at the scene. The SUV driver remained at the location and cooperated fully with investigators. Authorities confirmed that the investigation into the fatal crash remains ongoing, with temporary road closures in the area.
Community in Shock
The devastating news has left the Jarvis SC community in mourning. Hiran, remembered as a talented athlete and a beloved teammate, was also deeply cherished by his family and friends.
