Laurel County, KY – Authorities have confirmed that Jerry Honeycutt, 29, of London, Kentucky, tragically lost his life in a motorcycle crash on KY-552 Monday morning, September 22, 2025.

The crash occurred at approximately 11:32 a.m. when Honeycutt, traveling through a curve, lost control of his motorcycle. His bike entered the path of a Chevy Silverado pulling a trailer, resulting in a fatal collision. Emergency responders arrived swiftly, but Honeycutt was pronounced dead at the scene by Laurel County Coroner Doug Bowling.
The two occupants of the Silverado were uninjured, though the truck and trailer sustained minor damage. Authorities continue to investigate the circumstances surrounding the crash, including roadway conditions, speed, and other potential factors.
