SUPPORT THE FAMILY - GOD BLESS YOU

For decades, Ken was more than just a guide—he was the embodiment of what it meant to live with passion and purpose. With nearly 80 years of life rich in experience, he dedicated countless seasons to helping hunters find success, often astonishing clients with his deep knowledge of the land. His expertise at Gailey Ranch in Peterson, Utah, and its surrounding areas, was unrivaled. Many who hunted under his guidance recall that tagging out on the first or second day was almost a certainty under Duncan’s watchful eye. His reputation for success was matched only by the warmth he carried into every encounter.

Known for his love of mountain lion hunts, Ken was often playfully teased by friends and colleagues who admired his unmatched enthusiasm. His captivating stories, infectious smile, and unwavering camaraderie turned every trip into a memory and every hunt into a lifelong lesson. To the R&K Hunting family, he wasn’t simply a colleague—he was a mentor, a father figure, and a friend whose presence left a lasting impact on all who knew him.

Beyond the world of hunting, Ken was a devoted family man. A loving father and proud grandfather, he instilled in his family the same values of strength, perseverance, and deep respect for nature that defined his own life. His legacy is not only etched into the wild landscapes he loved but also into the hearts of his loved ones and the countless hunters whose lives he touched.

The team at R&K Hunting shared in their heartfelt tribute:
“Ken, you were more than a guide—you were family. Your wisdom, kindness, and love of the hunt shaped our company and our lives in ways words can never fully express. You will be profoundly missed. Until we meet again, dear friend, rest in eternal peace.”

As they grieve his passing, the community also finds comfort in imagining Ken reunited with friends gone before him, perhaps trading stories and even sparring good-naturedly with fellow hunter Joe Hill on the other side.

Ken Duncan’s life was a true testament to the spirit of hunting, friendship, and family devotion. His memory will forever remain a cornerstone of the R&K Hunting family.
