The collision occurred near FM 2767, along the Smith/Gregg County line, when investigators say a vehicle crossed into oncoming traffic, sparking a near head-on impact with another car. Despite the efforts of first responders, all four occupants were pronounced dead at the scene.
Authorities identified the victims as Alejandro Julian Martinez, 19; Jonathan Josue Perez, 20; David Morales Ramos, 21; and Nicholas Colby Sanders, 40—all residents of Kilgore. Their sudden deaths have left family, friends, and neighbors devastated.
