The entertainment world is mourning the tragic death of rising Latin pop star Fede Dorcaz, who was shot and killed in Mexico City earlier this week. He was 29 years old.
According to reports, Dorcaz was returning home from a dance rehearsal when he was attacked by unidentified assailants. Authorities said the singer was shot in the neck in what is believed to be an attempted robbery. Witnesses told investigators that four men fled the scene on motorcycles shortly after the shooting.

Before his untimely death, Dorcaz was preparing to appear on the popular television show Las Estrellas Bailan en Hoy alongside his girlfriend and dance partner Mariana Ávila.
Fede Dorcaz had gained popularity not only for his music but also for his modeling career, having worked with major fashion brands including Giorgio Armani and Dolce & Gabbana. He later transitioned fully into music, releasing hits such as No Eres Tú and Cara Bonita, which became fan favorites across Mexico. His recent 10-city tour was a major success, with sold-out venues nationwide.
The producers of Hoy expressed their heartbreak over Dorcaz’s death, offering condolences to his family and fans.
“We are deeply saddened by the passing of Fede Dorcaz,” the show’s statement read. “He was a talented artist with a bright future, and he will be dearly missed.”
