Lexington Police Investigating Deadly East Seventh Street Shooting; Victim Identified as 19-Year-Old Ja’Zarion Robinson

Lexington, KY – Authorities have identified the victim of a fatal shooting Tuesday evening on East Seventh Street as 19-year-old Ja’Zarion Robinson, according to the Fayette County Coroner’s Office. His death has been ruled a homicide caused by a gunshot wound.

Lexington Police reported that officers were dispatched to the 500 block of East Seventh Street shortly after 8:15 p.m. on September 30 in response to a shooting call. When they arrived, Robinson was found inside a residence and pronounced dead at the scene.

The incident brought a heavy police presence to the neighborhood, with detectives working late into the night to process the scene and gather evidence. As of now, no arrests have been made, and authorities have not released details regarding potential suspects or a motive.
