The global rock and nu-metal community is reeling from the news of Sam Rivers’ passing, the legendary bassist and founding member of Limp Bizkit. Rivers’ death was confirmed by the band on Saturday, October 18, 2025. He was 48 years old. The cause of death has not yet been disclosed.
