Noah, the son of Ricardo Lara, grew up surrounded by the affection of his siblings, Emma (13) and Rick (11). Despite his young age, he left an extraordinary mark on everyone he met. Known for his playful energy and kind heart, Noah loved baseball, superheroes, and laughter-filled days with his family.
His favorite characters—Captain America and Spiderman—stood for courage and strength. In his final act, Noah embodied those very traits. Through the donation of his heart and both lungs, he gave the gift of life to three people, leaving behind a legacy far greater than his years.
A Beloved Teammate
Noah’s passion for baseball was evident to all who knew him. Wearing his #33 jersey, he was a cherished member of the ELB and LAYB baseball families. Coaches and teammates recall his infectious enthusiasm and joyful presence on the field.

In the days following his passing, teammates, parents, and coaches gathered for vigils, prayer circles, and a candlelight ceremony on the Pinto field, where flowers, candles, and heartfelt messages were left in his honor. This fall, coaches plan to release a tribute dry-fit tee featuring Noah’s “33 Angel Wings” as a lasting reminder of his spirit.

The Lara family has endured profound heartbreak. Just last year, in July 2024, Noah’s mother passed away, leaving Ricardo as a single father to raise Emma, Rick, and Noah. Now, with Noah’s tragic passing, the family faces unimaginable grief.
Friends, neighbors, and community members have rallied to support the Laras, organizing fundraisers to assist with funeral expenses and ongoing care for the children. Donations and prayers continue to pour in, reflecting the deep love so many felt for Noah.
