The Lost Creek community is mourning the sudden death of Ronald Blair Porrin, who tragically died Sunday in a single-vehicle tractor-trailer accident on southbound Interstate 79 near mile marker 110 in Harrison County.
According to the West Virginia State Police, Porrin, the only occupant of the truck, was ejected during the crash and was pronounced dead at the scene. Preliminary reports indicate the tractor-trailer veered off the right side of the highway, traveling over an embankment before coming to a stop.
