The community is mourning the loss of 30-year-old McKenzie White of Louisville, Kentucky, who was killed in a two-vehicle collision Sunday morning in Franklin Township, Fulton County.
The crash occurred around 8:40 a.m. at the intersection of County Road L and State Route 66, according to the Ohio State Highway Patrol. Investigators say Dustin Wood, of Bryan, was driving east on County Road L when he failed to stop at a posted stop sign, entering the intersection and colliding with McKenzie’s southbound SUV.

The impact was severe, and McKenzie was pronounced dead at the scene.
Multiple Injuries and Widespread Impact
The crash injured four other people. In Wood’s vehicle, passenger Deadra Wood and a 16-year-old were transported to a Toledo hospital with serious injuries, though the teen’s condition was not life-threatening. In McKenzie’s SUV, passenger Margaret Arnsby, 30, of Cincinnati, was also hospitalized with serious injuries.
The force of the collision knocked down a power pole, causing outages in the area and prompting a large emergency response involving Fayette Fire Department, Archbold Fire Department, the Ohio State Highway Patrol, and the Fulton County Sheriff’s Office.
Local representatives noted that visibility issues at the intersection have been a long-standing concern, and the tragedy has renewed calls for improved safety measures.
