A major police investigation is underway after a man was seriously injured in a violent daylight assault on Drumchapel Road in northwest Glasgow on Friday afternoon, October 10.
Emergency services were called to the scene shortly before 3:00 p.m., following reports of a serious attack between Glenkirk Drive and Blairdardie Road. Upon arrival, officers discovered a man suffering from significant injuries. He was immediately transported to Queen Elizabeth University Hospital for urgent treatment.

“Around 2.50 p.m. on Friday, October 10, 2025, we received a report of the serious assault of a man on Drumchapel Road, Glasgow. The man was taken to Queen Elizabeth University Hospital for treatment. Enquiries are ongoing to establish the full circumstances.”
The attack has left the local community shaken, with residents expressing concern over the violence in an otherwise quiet area. Witnesses reported seeing a heavy police presence as officers canvassed the neighborhood for information.
