Man Killed in Early Morning Shooting on Eldridge Avenue, North Memphis

The Memphis Police Department (MPD) is investigating a deadly shooting that occurred early Thursday morning in North Memphis, leaving one man dead and prompting a citywide appeal for information.

Officers were dispatched to Eldridge Avenue around 6:27 a.m. following reports of gunfire. Upon arrival, they found a male victim suffering from gunshot wounds. Despite efforts to save him, the victim was pronounced dead at the scene. Authorities have not released his identity, pending notification of next of kin.
