The Marianna community is mourning the loss of Harriet Faith Collins Rhea, who passed away peacefully on August 19, 2025, at the age of 81. She was surrounded by her loving family and friends at her daughter’s home after a lengthy and courageous seven-year battle with Alzheimer’s disease.

Born on September 5, 1943, Harriet’s life was defined by her unwavering love for family, her strength of spirit, and the compassion she extended to everyone she encountered. To those who knew her, she was a source of warmth, wisdom, and encouragement.
Throughout her life, Harriet embraced both the joys and challenges of her journey with remarkable resilience. Friends describe her as someone who always carried a smile, even during her most difficult days. Her determination to live fully, despite her illness, served as an inspiration to those around her.
