Marion Simpson Cause of Death – Marion Simpson (née Henderson) passed away peacefully on November 7, 2024, at McCormick Home, aged 89. Born December 1, 1935, Marion grew up in North London, exceling academically and athletically. She competed in the 1952 Olympic trials and served as valedictorian at Ryerson Public School and Central High School.
A devoted teacher, Marion inspired students and proudly supported her family, including children Christine, Craig, Dave and their spouses, and cherished her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Her kindness, generosity and warmth touched countless lives.

Marion’s passions included poetry, art and lifelong learning through Western’s Society for Learning in Retirement. Her legacy honors kindness, non-judgment and generosity.
