Metro Nashville Charges Man in Fatal Shooting of 17-Year-Old Amya Finney
The Nashville community is reeling following the tragic death of 17-year-old Amya Finney, whose life was cut short on Sunday morning, October 12, 2025, in what authorities are calling a domestic-related shooting.

Metro Nashville Police announced that 20-year-old Amare Ramey has been charged in connection with the fatal shooting of Finney, who was found critically injured on Bixler Avenue. Officers say the incident stemmed from a domestic dispute between the two.
