Authorities have identified the two people found dead inside a vehicle on the Causeway on Sunday, October 20, 2025, in what investigators are calling an apparent murder-suicide.
According to the Spanish Fort Police Department, the victims were identified as 41-year-old Veromonique Ntseful-Dubose and her husband, 36-year-old Taurean Dubose, both residents of Mobile, Alabama. Officers discovered the couple deceased inside a white Chevrolet Tahoe parked along the Causeway.
Preliminary reports indicate that Veromonique died from gunshot wounds, while Taurean suffered what appeared to be a self-inflicted gunshot wound. Investigators believe the incident stemmed from a domestic dispute that turned deadly.
Authorities responded to the scene after receiving reports of an unresponsive couple in a vehicle. Upon arrival, officers confirmed both individuals were deceased. The area was secured for several hours as police conducted their investigation.
