HOUSTON COUNTY, Ga. — A tragic motorcycle crash early Sunday morning claimed the life of 39-year-old Zachary Allen Eddy of North Carolina. The incident occurred at the intersection of Highway 41 and Lakeview Road around 2:56 a.m., according to the Houston County Sheriff’s Office.
Deputies reported that Eddy was riding a 2023 Indian Chieftain motorcycle northbound on Highway 41 when he failed to navigate the roundabout at Lakeview Road, lost control, and crashed. He sustained fatal injuries and was pronounced dead at the scene.

No other vehicles were involved in the crash. Authorities have not indicated whether speed or impairment played a role in the incident.
