The OSU Police Department responded around 3:40 a.m. after receiving reports of gunfire. Upon arrival, officers discovered several individuals suffering from gunshot wounds. OSU Police Chief Michael Beckner confirmed that at least one victim is an enrolled student, though the identities and exact conditions of all victims have not been released. Local media reports indicate that three people were hospitalized following the incident.
