Authorities have identified Neil David Blevins as the victim of a two-motorcycle collision that occurred Saturday evening on Old Walland Highway, according to the Blount County Sheriff’s Office.

Deputies reported that the crash happened around 5 p.m. near the intersection of Ellejoy Road and Cold Springs Road. Investigators say Blevins was traveling eastbound when he crossed the center line and struck another motorcycle head-on.
Blevins was pronounced dead at the scene. Two other people involved were injured, though officials have not released updates on their conditions.
The Blount County Sheriff’s Office is continuing to investigate the circumstances surrounding the crash.
