His passing has left family, friends, and neighbors devastated, as they mourn a young man remembered for his adventurous spirit, energy, and love for life.
The Accident
According to the Guadalupe County Sheriff’s Office, deputies were dispatched at approximately 12:52 p.m. to the 9800 block of FM 467 following reports of a motorcycle crash. Upon arrival, first responders found Steven lying unconscious and unresponsive on the ground.
Despite immediate intervention and the arrival of Wilson County EMS, who began advanced life-saving measures, Steven showed no signs of breathing. Tragically, he was pronounced dead at the scene at 1:18 p.m.
Preliminary investigations revealed that Steven had been traveling westbound toward La Vernia at a high rate of speed when he lost control of his motorcycle. The Texas Department of Public Safety (DPS) has confirmed that the investigation is ongoing.
