New Haven, CT — The New Haven Police Department has identified the two men killed in a shooting on Monday afternoon on Dickerman Street as 26-year-old Daiquan Hyman of East Haven and 32-year-old Ernest Williams of New Haven.

Authorities reported that Hyman was rushed to a nearby hospital shortly after the shooting but was pronounced dead soon after arrival. Williams, who also sustained critical injuries, was hospitalized and later succumbed to his wounds that evening. Police have classified the incident as a double homicide.
