A 41-year-old man, identified as Ricardo Marshall of Nicholasville Extension, San Juan, is recovering after being shot outside his home on the evening of Tuesday, October 21, 2025.
According to police reports, Marshall was standing on the steps of his residence around 8:00 p.m., watching his wife park her vehicle, when two armed men—both reportedly known to him—approached and opened fire.
In an attempt to escape, Marshall ran but was struck in his upper left leg before collapsing. The suspects quickly fled the scene on foot, leaving the injured man bleeding on the ground.
Neighbors reportedly rushed to assist before Marshall was transported to Mt. Hope Hospital, where he was treated for his injuries.
Police investigators, led by PC Khan, have since launched an ongoing inquiry into the attack. Authorities are working to determine the motive behind the shooting and are urging anyone with relevant information to come forward as investigations continue.
