Court filings show Edge is now facing 13 felony counts, including three charges of first-degree murder, five counts of attempted first-degree murder, and five counts of assault with a deadly weapon with intent to kill or cause serious injury.

Investigators say Edge carried out the shooting with a short-barrel AR-style rifle equipped with a suppressor, folding stock, and scope. Witnesses recalled scenes of chaos as crowds fled for safety when gunfire erupted along the busy waterfront.

Edge is currently being held without bond at the Brunswick County Jail. Search warrants also connect his residence on NW 10th Street to the case. A boat identified as Game On was spotted there in 2025 Google images, which authorities believe matches one seen near the site of the shooting.

Officials continue working to determine Edge’s motive and the full circumstances behind the deadly incident.

This is a developing story.
