ODESSA, TX – The Odessa community is grieving the tragic death of Marcus Gentry, 44, of Stephenville, who lost his life on Saturday, August 23, 2025, following a serious crash at the intersection of Dixie and Pool Road.

According to authorities, Marcus was traveling westbound on Pool Road when his vehicle was struck, causing it to leave the roadway and roll over. He was ejected from the vehicle and was pronounced dead at the scene. A passenger in the vehicle sustained non-life-threatening injuries and is currently recovering. The incident remains under investigation.
Family and friends remember Marcus as a devoted loved one, a loyal friend, and a kind-hearted individual whose generosity and warmth left a lasting impact on everyone he met.
