The Oklahoma City community is mourning the heartbreaking loss of Jaime Rae Russell, whose passing on October 15, 2025, has left a deep sense of sorrow among her family, friends, and all who knew her. Born on March 7, 2001, in Norman, Jaime lived a life defined by kindness, intelligence, and unwavering faith.
A proud 2019 graduate of Casady School, Jaime went on to attend the University of Mississippi, where she graduated in 2023. During her time at Ole Miss, she became an active and cherished member of the Iota-Omega Chapter of Alpha Phi, building lifelong friendships and leaving behind a legacy of leadership and compassion. Her peers remember her for her integrity, optimism, and dedication to uplifting others.

Beyond her academic and social achievements, Jaime was deeply rooted in her faith. As a devoted member of Chisholm Heights Baptist Church, she lived out her beliefs through acts of service and love. Friends and family describe her as someone who led with a pure heart—always thoughtful, generous, and eager to bring comfort to those around her.
Jaime’s affection extended to all living beings, especially her beloved dog, Moose. Her commitment to animal welfare inspired her to support causes such as the Oklahoma Humane Society, reflecting her compassionate nature and her belief in kindness without limits.
She is survived by her loving parents, Melissa and Kane Russell; her siblings, Kayden and Kaeley Russell, and Neeley Cook and her husband Holden Cook. She also leaves behind her grandparents, Connie Wilson, Helen and Robert Sisco, and Anita and Roy Russell, along with a large circle of extended family and dear friends who will cherish her memory forever.
A memorial service celebrating Jaime’s life is scheduled for Tuesday, October 21, 2025, at 11:00 a.m. at Chisholm Heights Baptist Church, 2243 West State Highway 152, Mustang, Oklahoma.
Though her time was far too short, Jaime Rae Russell’s spirit continues to shine brightly in the lives she touched. Her kindness, faith, and love will remain an enduring source of inspiration for everyone privileged to have known her.
