Loved ones describe Kain as a bright spirit whose humor, mischievous streak, and ability to make others laugh brought warmth to everyone around him. From an early age, he dreamed of serving his country, sharing often that he hoped to become a Marine one day — a reflection of the courage and determination he carried throughout his young life.

“Kain had a fearless warrior’s heart,” relatives shared, adding that his smile and kindness touched countless lives. Though his time was far too short, they said, his legacy will endure through the love and laughter he inspired.

The Brumbaugh family is now facing an unimaginable loss. A GoFundMe campaign, “In Memory of Kain Brumbaugh,” has been created to support them as they grieve and honor Kain’s memory.

Those close to Kain are asking the community to remember him for the joy and light he brought to so many, and to keep his family in their thoughts during this profoundly difficult time.
