A tragic family shooting unfolded on October 10th, leaving a 63-year-old father dead after being shot by his 41-year-old son, authorities reported.
According to the Parkland Sheriff’s Department, deputies were dispatched just after 8:00 p.m. to a residence following reports of a shooting. Responding officers found the son had barricaded himself in a bedroom after the incident. Law enforcement quickly assisted the father outside and provided life-saving measures, but he succumbed to his injuries at the scene.
