Anthony’s greatest joy was his family. He shared a strong and loving marriage with his wife, Maria (nee Frisoli) Lombardi, building a home that reflected love, respect, and tradition. Together, they raised their children—Vincent (Amanda) Lombardi, Gianna (Nick) Verrecchio, Alyssa Lombardi (Jonathan), and Anthony Lombardi (Mia)—instilling in them the values of faith, perseverance, and unity.
His most cherished role was that of “Pop Pop” to his grandchildren, Vincenzo and Gemma, who will always carry his love in their hearts.
Strong Roots and Lasting Bonds
Born to Vincent Lombardi and the late Carmela (nee Taormina) Lombardi, Anthony grew up with the values of loyalty, hard work, and faith. Those lessons shaped the man he became—one who valued deep connections and family ties.
He is also survived by his brother, Dr. Joseph (Nadia) Lombardi, his sister, Laurie (Alex) Taberne, and many nieces, nephews, aunts, and uncles. For them, Anthony was not only family but also a source of support, laughter, and strength.

Anthony’s life was guided by faith and integrity. Known for his humility, kindness, and humor, he had a gift for lifting spirits and bringing people together. Whether over a shared meal, a story, or a simple conversation, his presence filled every space with warmth.
Services and Tributes
Family and friends are invited to honor Anthony on Friday, September 12, 2025, at the Church of St. Monica, 17th & Ritner Streets, Philadelphia. A viewing will take place from 10:30 a.m. until 12 noon, followed by his Funeral Mass at 12:30 p.m. Interment will be private for immediate family.
