Police Investigate Death of 34-Year-Old Imran Khan Found in Parked Car at Mon Repos
Authorities in Guyana have launched an investigation into the mysterious death of Imran Khan, a 34-year-old resident of Bagotstown, East Bank Demerara (EBD), whose body was discovered inside a parked vehicle at Mon Repos South, East Coast Demerara (ECD) on Friday, October 31, 2025.

According to a statement from the Guyana Police Force (GPF), Khan was found around 4:15 p.m. in a black Nissan Bluebird bearing registration number PWW 946, which was parked along First Street, Mon Repos South. Officers who arrived at the scene found Khan seated in the front passenger seat, his head tilted toward the driver’s side. Police confirmed that there were no visible marks of violence on the body.

A medical professional later pronounced Khan dead, and his body was taken to the Memorial Gardens Funeral Home pending a post-mortem examination to determine the cause of death.

Investigators processed the scene and recovered several personal items from the vehicle. The car has since been impounded for further forensic analysis. Police are also reviewing CCTV footage from the area and have interviewed several individuals as part of their ongoing inquiry.

While foul play has not been ruled out, authorities say they are awaiting autopsy results to confirm whether Khan’s death was due to natural causes or other circumstances.

The Guyana Police Force continues to urge anyone with information related to the case to come forward as investigations remain ongoing.
