Sanchez, a resident of Pomona, was found fatally shot inside her apartment at the Sienna Residences community on East 3rd Street.
The incident occurred around 6:38 p.m. when police were called to the scene following reports of a shooting. Upon arrival, officers discovered Sanchez and a man, both suffering from gunshot wounds. Sanchez was pronounced dead at the scene, while the man—whose identity has not yet been released—was transported to a local hospital but later succumbed to his injuries.
