Racine authorities are investigating a shooting outside the Tyler Domer Community Center that left three teenagers injured on the evening of October 16. The incident occurred around 6:10 p.m. at 2301 12th Street, sending shockwaves through the local community.
According to the Racine Police Department, a 16-year-old boy sustained multiple gunshot wounds and was airlifted to Children’s Wisconsin Hospital. Another 16-year-old boy was treated for a gunshot wound to his foot at the same hospital, while a 14-year-old boy with a thigh wound received care at Ascension All Saints Hospital and was released the same evening.

Police confirmed that the shooting arose from an altercation, though details about what sparked the conflict have not been released. As of the morning of October 17, officials had no updates on the condition of the hospitalized teenagers.
