GREECE, NY — A tense situation unfolded Wednesday afternoon at Rochester Regional Health’s Unity Hospital after authorities placed the facility on lockdown while responding to what officials described as an “active police situation.”
The hospital, located at 1555 Long Pond Road in the Rochester suburb of Greece, saw a massive emergency response as heavily armed officers, tactical teams, and emergency medical personnel arrived on scene.
