The community of Scotch Plains-Fanwood is mourning the heartbreaking loss of Nico Lombardi, who tragically passed away in a bike and motor vehicle accident earlier this week. His sudden death has left family, friends, and neighbors in deep shock and sorrow.
In response to the overwhelming outpouring of love, support, and donations, the Lombardi family has announced plans to honor Nico’s memory through meaningful initiatives. They are working with Scotch Plains-Fanwood High School to establish a Basketball Scholarship in his name, celebrating Nico’s passion for the sport and ensuring that student athletes who share his love for basketball have opportunities to pursue their dreams.
