Springfield, OH – Authorities are investigating a fatal shooting that claimed the life of 22-year-old Jalesseazay Posey early Thursday morning.
Police say they were called to the 1400 block of Delta Road, near the Southern Village Shopping Center, at around 3:10 a.m. on Thursday, September 25, 2025. When officers arrived, they found Posey suffering from multiple gunshot wounds.

He was rushed to Springfield Regional Medical Center, where he was later pronounced deceased.
Investigators believe the shooting was an isolated incident, though the motive remains unclear. No suspects or persons of interest have been publicly identified at this time.
