Bell was rushed to a nearby hospital for emergency treatment but tragically died from his injuries on November 6, 2020. Despite years of investigation, detectives have not yet identified or arrested the individual responsible for the fatal shooting.

Sheriff Tim Soignet emphasized that the case remains a top priority for the department and appealed to the public for renewed cooperation.

“This investigation remains deeply important to our agency and to the Bell family,” Soignet said. “We believe someone out there knows something that could help us deliver justice for Jardney. Even the smallest detail might be the key to solving this case.”

The sheriff’s office hopes that renewed community awareness will help generate new leads. Detectives in the TPSO Violent Crimes Division continue to review evidence and follow up on all available tips.
