A horrifying scene unfolded in Converse, Texas, after a man allegedly hid in his ex-girlfriend’s closet for hours, waiting for her to return home — only to ambush and fatally shoot her new boyfriend.
According to police reports, 23-year-old Shiateek Wilson is accused of killing 35-year-old Noel Miller inside a home on October 26 in what authorities describe as a premeditated and deeply disturbing act of violence.

Investigators said the unnamed woman returned home from a night out with Miller. The two were preparing to shower when Miller stepped into the laundry room to grab clean clothes. Moments later, gunshots shattered the quiet of the evening.
Startled, the woman rushed from the bathroom and discovered Miller collapsed and struggling to breathe. Standing in the doorway, she saw Wilson — her ex-boyfriend — holding a firearm.
According to the police report, Wilson seized the woman’s phone when she tried to call 911 but eventually tossed it back before fleeing the scene. Responding officers found Miller critically injured; he was later pronounced dead.
During questioning, Wilson confessed to police that he had hidden inside his ex-girlfriend’s closet earlier that day. He claimed he intended to “surprise her with money, flowers, and drugs,” but remained concealed for hours after hearing her and Miller arrive home.
Despite admitting to the shooting, Wilson alleged that he acted in self-defense — a claim authorities say remains under investigation.
Wilson is currently being held in the Bexar County Jail on a $300,000 bond, awaiting indictment.
