The Thomson community is mourning the loss of 21-year-old Ashton Brown, who tragically died in a motorcycle accident on the afternoon of Friday, November 7, 2025.
According to McDuffie County Coroner Paul Johnson, the crash took place on the 1500 block of Moose Club Road in Thomson. Investigators say Ashton was riding his motorcycle when, for reasons still under investigation, the bike veered off the road and crashed. Despite the swift response of emergency personnel, Ashton was pronounced dead at 4:45 p.m.
