Middletown, OH — The Middletown community is reeling after a fatal three-vehicle collision Saturday evening near the intersection of Ohio 122 and Dixie Highway claimed the lives of 88-year-old John Sora, 84-year-old Sandra Sora, and 33-year-old Katelynn Williams.
According to the Montgomery and Warren County Coroner’s Offices, John Sora was pronounced dead on arrival at Atrium Medical Center. Sandra Sora and Katelynn Williams were transported by CareFlight to Miami Valley Hospital, where they later succumbed to their injuries.
Police reported that the crash occurred shortly after 8 p.m. The intersection remained closed for several hours as emergency crews and law enforcement worked to investigate and clear the scene. The Middletown Division of Police, along with the Butler County Serious Traffic Accident Reconstruction Team (START), continues to investigate the circumstances surrounding the collision.
Authorities have stated that speed and impairment are not believed to be factors in the crash. Investigators are asking anyone with information to contact Sgt. Rogers at 513-425-7918.
