The incident occurred just after 7 a.m. at the ICE office located at 8101 North Stemmons Freeway, near Interstate 35E. Authorities immediately secured the scene as law enforcement agencies rushed to the area, blocking traffic and surrounding nearby buildings.

Reports of Possible Sniper

Dallas police are investigating reports that a sniper, and possibly multiple shooters, may have been positioned on rooftops overlooking the facility. Sources told WFAA that one suspected shooter was later found shot on the roof of a nearby immigration attorney’s office.
