Incident at ICE Office
The incident occurred just after 7 a.m. at the ICE office located at 8101 North Stemmons Freeway, near Interstate 35E. Authorities immediately secured the scene as law enforcement agencies rushed to the area, blocking traffic and surrounding nearby buildings.
Reports of Possible Sniper
Dallas police are investigating reports that a sniper, and possibly multiple shooters, may have been positioned on rooftops overlooking the facility. Sources told WFAA that one suspected shooter was later found shot on the roof of a nearby immigration attorney’s office. The individual’s condition and role in the attack remain unclear as of Wednesday morning.
Law Enforcement Response
Traffic cameras operated by the Texas Department of Transportation showed a large-scale emergency response, with police vehicles and ambulances lining I-35E as officers worked to secure the surrounding area.
Victims and Investigation
Authorities confirmed that three people were wounded, though their identities and current conditions have not been released. It is not yet known whether any of the victims are federal agents.
