Born on January 3, 1997, Blayd grew up in Tomah and proudly graduated from Tomah High School, where his natural determination and warm spirit earned him the respect of his peers. Following graduation, he carried that same dedication into his professional life, building a reputation as a hardworking and dependable colleague at MARS Petcare Manufacturing in Tomah. His coworkers recall his enthusiasm, sense of humor, and the genuine kindness he extended to everyone he encountered.
To those closest to him, Blayd’s life was defined by the relationships he nurtured. He had a rare gift for lifting spirits, and his laughter was contagious — a reflection of the joy he found in both the big and small moments of life. Friends and family alike will remember him not only for his humor but also for his sincerity, loyalty, and the countless memories he created with them.
Blayd’s love for family was the anchor of his life. He is survived by his devoted mother, Melanie Pearson, and her partner, Mike Grams, who cherished him deeply; his beloved sister, Mackenzi Pearson, and her partner, Jay Moede, with whom he shared countless memories; his grandmother, Lucy Krohn, who held a special place in his heart; and his girlfriend, Abby Skowronski, with whom he shared a bond filled with love, laughter, and companionship. Each of these relationships shaped the man he became, and each will carry forward the light he brought into their lives.
Though his time on earth was far too short, Blayd’s spirit will live on through the many lives he touched. Friends and family will continue to honor him through shared stories, games, laughter, and the cherished moments that remain etched in their hearts. A visitation to honor Blayd’s life will be held on Monday, August 25, 2025, from 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. at Torkelson Funeral Home in Tomah, which is assisting the family with arrangements. A private interment will take place at a later date.
