The Mount Pleasant community is in mourning following the tragic death of 74-year-old Robert Leventhal, who succumbed to his injuries at the Medical University of South Carolina on Dec. 6, one day after a devastating pedestrian-vehicle crash.
The incident occurred on Dec. 5 at 7:06 p.m. on the 700 block of Maybank Highway, leaving a profound void in the lives of Leventhal’s loved ones. “He was a kind and compassionate soul who will be deeply missed,” said a family member.
