The community is mourning the loss of Ashley Wendt, a vibrant 25-year-old from Washington, N.H., who died in a devastating motor vehicle collision on Maple Street. The Office of the Chief Medical Examiner ruled her death an accident, caused by multiple blunt force injuries.
Ashley’s family, friends, and the community are heartbroken by her untimely passing. She was known for her warmth, kindness, and the joy she brought to others. “Ashley was a shining light in our lives,” said a loved one. “Her loss is devastating.”

Dylan Galland, 25, of East Windsor, Conn., was arrested and charged with Negligent Homicide and Aggravated Driving While Intoxicated. He remains held without bail pending a probable cause hearing on Dec. 16.
