Inside the vehicle was 36-year-old Jacob Dean Mix, a well-known and cherished member of the Grants Pass community. Tragically, Jacob was unable to escape the vehicle and was pronounced dead at the scene. The driver, 21-year-old Alexander Ray Yager, also from Grants Pass, sustained minor injuries and was transported to a nearby hospital for treatment.
