Nashville, Tennessee — The Nashville community is mourning the loss of three teenagers following a devastating crash on Mt. View Road on the morning of October 26. The victims, identified as Maximos Ibrahim, 19, Raafat Nassif, 17, and David Fakhory, 19, were passengers in an Infinity G37 driven by 17-year-old Kerlos Toma, who was hospitalized with life-threatening injuries at Vanderbilt University Medical Center.
According to the Metro Nashville Police Department (MNPD), witnesses reported that the Infinity was traveling southbound at a high speed when it collided head-on with a northbound Jeep Renegade. Ibrahim and Nassif tragically died at the scene, while Fakhory later succumbed to his injuries at Vanderbilt Hospital. The 24-year-old driver of the Jeep sustained serious injuries but is expected to recover.

Authorities confirmed that no one in either vehicle was wearing a seatbelt at the time of the collision. Preliminary findings indicate that the Infinity may have been partially in the wrong lane when the crash occurred.
The District Attorney’s Office will take over the investigation once MNPD completes its initial work. Community members are expressing shock and grief over the incident, highlighting the importance of road safety and responsible driving.
