According to Justice of the Peace Brad Burnett, the collision occurred near the 2100 block of Highway 87, heading toward Sabine Pass, at approximately 4:15 a.m. The crash involved four vehicles, and preliminary reports indicate the young woman, a resident of Spring, Texas, was struck from behind. She was pronounced dead at the scene. An autopsy has been ordered as part of the ongoing investigation.
